About these terms

These terms apply to your use of weseetheworld.org and We See The World (WSW) services, including event registration, memberships, assistance, transportation arrangements, and our text messaging program. Please read the information for the service you choose and contact us with any questions. WSW brings adults who are blind or visually impaired together for connection, outings, and new experiences.

Website use

Use our website lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us or registering. Do not misuse forms, interfere with the website, impersonate another person, or submit harmful or unlawful content. WSW services are intended for adults age 18 and older.

Events, memberships, assistance, and transportation

The event listing and checkout information describe the price, included services, availability, and applicable membership benefits for your purchase. Admission, assistance, and transportation depend on the selected event or plan; do not assume a service is included unless the listing says it is. Registration is subject to available space and confirmation. Contact us before booking if you need help understanding a listing or arranging an accommodation.

Payments, renewals, cancellations, and changes

Review the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and any cancellation or refund policy displayed for your selected service before purchasing. A recurring membership renews under the terms presented when you enroll. Contact us through our Contact page for billing questions, cancellation requests, or help locating the policy that applies to your purchase. These terms do not create an additional refund restriction or replace the terms disclosed for a specific purchase. If event details change, WSW will communicate the relevant information to registered participants using their provided contact details.

Text messaging terms and conditions

Program and message types

We See The World offers an optional SMS text messaging program. Depending on the consent you give, messages may include replies to your inquiries, event registration confirmations and reminders, membership updates, assistance and transportation coordination, and other requested updates. Promotional event and membership messages require separate appropriate consent.

Consent

You must affirmatively opt in before receiving ongoing texts within the scope of your consent. Providing a phone number, visiting our website, or making a purchase does not by itself enroll you in promotional texts. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchase. WSW records and honors your messaging preferences. These terms do not enroll you in text messages by themselves.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your requests, registrations, and communication preferences. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan and charges.

How to unsubscribe

Reply STOP to any WSW text to stop receiving messages. You may receive one final message confirming that your opt-out was processed. After opting out, you must provide new consent to resume receiving texts.

Delivery and your phone number
