“I Finally Feel Like I’m Living Again.”

“Joining We See the World was one of the best decisions I could have made. Before joining, I didn’t get out as much as I wanted to, and sometimes I felt like I was missing out on experiences simply because of my vision impairment.

From my very first experience with We See the World, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and included. I laughed, met new people, tried something different, and most importantly, I didn’t feel like my vision defined what I could or couldn’t enjoy.

For once, I wasn’t sitting at home hearing about everybody else having fun — I was the one out making memories!

We See the World reminded me that there is still so much life to experience, so many places to go, and so many people to meet. I came for an experience, but I walked away feeling like I had found a community.

I’m already asking: Where are we going next?!”

“I Came Nervous and Left With New Friends.”

“I almost talked myself out of going because I didn’t know anyone, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m so glad I went! Within no time, I was laughing, talking, eating, and having such a good time that I forgot I had even been nervous.

What I loved most about We See the World was being around other adults who understood me without making everything about being blind or visually impaired. We were just people having FUN!

I came by myself, but I definitely didn’t leave feeling alone. I exchanged numbers, made new friends, and laughed way more than I expected to.

Next time, nobody has to convince me to come — just tell me where and what time! 😂”

“This Is the Kind of Community I’ve Been Looking For.”

“We See the World gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing — the excitement of having something to look forward to.

It felt amazing to get dressed, get out of the house, meet new people, laugh, enjoy myself, and just experience life. Nobody treated me like I couldn’t participate because of my vision. I felt independent, included, and completely comfortable being myself.

And let me tell you — we had a GOOD time! 😂 There was laughter, silliness, great conversations, and memories I’ll be talking about for a long time.

We See the World isn’t just about going places. It’s about remembering that life is still waiting for us — and I’m ready to experience all of it!”
